Center in Dębak – Open Day

Ethnic table, theatre plays and many attractions for children and adolescents were awaiting visitors to the center for foreigners in Dębak (near Podkowa Lesna). An open day was organised there on Saturday, September 3, between 11.00 and 14.00.

The center for foreigners in Dębak near Podkowa Leśna is about 20 km away from Warsaw. On Saturday, September 3, the visitors could easily explore the area and see how people applying for international protection in Poland live there. All the guests of the open day also waited for numerous attractions including: ethnic dishes prepared by foreigners, inflatable slide, cotton candy, drumming workshop, ethnic table, motorcyclists and theatre play performed by children from the center. Refugee.pl Foundation was involved in organizing the event.

Open days in the centers for foreigners are an initiative aimed at supporting the integration of foreigners in Poland. Residents, journalists, representatives of public institutions can freely enter the center and talk to their residents.
